Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the dental laboratory, working closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to create high-quality dental prosthetics and appliances. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, laboratory practices, and the ability to utilize various tools and systems effectively.
Duties
Lead and manage our on-site dental lab
Provide our doctors with high quality lab products
Communicate effectively with our doctors
Brainstorm new ideas of products, services and systems
Maintain relationships with outside labs
Manage all incoming and outgoing cases
Manage lab revenues and expenses
Managing and running 3D printers and mill
Be chairside with docs to evaluate certain cases
Qualifications
- Proficiency in dental terminology and an understanding of dental fabrication processes is essential.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred; familiarity with systems such as Exocad or similar software
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and Dentists.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Familiar with tooth morphology and occlusion
- Articulation and spotting errors in the bite registration
- Operate ceramic and Sintering oven, custom staining and glazing porcelain
- Understanding of intra-oral and bench scanners
- Maintain clean and organized lab area
- Perform other duties as needed
- Ability to set denture teeth and process, finish and polish dentures a huge advantage.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
