WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant (prior pediatric experience preferred).

Completion of an accredited dental assisting program, including DANB, or a willingness to obtain a Certified Dental Assistant certification while working for GVPD.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Passionate about making kids feel comfortable & cared for.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support a team of dental assistants, fostering a positive work environment.

Clinical Support: Assist the dentist with all procedures, including examinations, restorative, and surgical procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Patient Care: Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed during their visit and provide instructions for post-treatment care.

Inventory Management: Oversee and manage dental supply inventory, placing orders and ensuring all materials and equipment are ready and available.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and sterilization standards.

Training & Development: Conduct training sessions and skill-building activities for new and current dental assistants.
