Are you a self starter and what some freedom? I need your help. I need someone to help me take this start up to the next level. I am printing chromium cobalt and potentially titanium partial denture frameworks. The plan was to start making frameworks for local labs, and grow from there, however, due to family illnesses, I installed all the equipment and it sat. I need someone to become a partner, and really run this lab. If things work out, this becomes your lab and I'm the silent partner. Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom partial dentures
- Collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to interpret prescriptions, treatment plans, and specific patient needs.
- Prepare dental models by digitally designing and printing
- Use precise measurement tools such as micrometers to ensure the accuracy of restorations and appliances.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques throughout all laboratory processes to ensure patient safety.
- Manage inventory of dental materials and supplies, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and maintained properly for optimal performance.
- Document all fabrication steps meticulously in medical records and laboratory logs in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in dental fabrication techniques, digital dentistry (CAD/CAM), and relevant medical terminology to enhance quality standards.
- Support infection control procedures within the laboratory environment to prevent cross-contamination.
- Contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere by sharing knowledge on anatomy, dental terminology, medical imaging, and pediatric dentistry when applicable.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a dental laboratory or related field is highly preferred; familiarity with dental fabrication processes is essential.
- Experience with CAD/CAM technology for designing restorations enhances your fit for this role.
- Strong grasp of anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry and pediatrics ensures precise fabrication tailored to diverse patient needs.
