Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Lab Coordinator and Technician to join our dynamic dental practice. This role involves coordinating laboratory procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient care. The ideal candidate will be proficient with current technology and applications, as well as possess a strong background in dental fabrication, laboratory experience, and familiarity with dental terminology and medical documentation. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee dental laboratory procedures, including fabrication of crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic devices
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures
- Operate CAD/CAM technology for dental fabrication processes
- Prepare laboratory materials using precise measurements with tools like micrometers
- Support patient care by understanding medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and pediatric considerations when applicable
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized lab environment following infection control standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental assisting, laboratory work, or dental office settings is preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging, and medical documentation practices also preferred
- Familiarity with using CAD software for dental fabrication
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for handling precise measurements and documentation
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality and safety

Pay: $22.53 - $27.14 per hour
