Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Maintain an aseptic environment by following proper infection control protocols.
Take digital dental X-rays while adhering to safety standards.
Record and update patient medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Monitor vital signs and assist with patient assessments as needed.
Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy to assist in treatment planning and patient education.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
Knowledge of medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
