We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for providing high-quality dental services. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing procedures, and ensuring the overall health and well-being of your patients. Your expertise in both general and specialized dentistry will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver exceptional oral health care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health status
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions
- Utilize advanced techniques such as root canal therapy and four-handed dentistry to enhance patient comfort and treatment efficiency
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe treatment environment
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and procedures
Skills
- Proficient in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix Ascend
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health
- Experience with medical imaging techniques for diagnostic purposes
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages, particularly in pediatrics
- Demonstrated expertise in infection control practices within a clinical setting
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic environment is preferred
