Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented receptionist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of dental office operations, and a passion for providing outstanding patient service. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical documentation review. Your expertise in medical and dental administrative support will ensure smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming environment at the front desk.
Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix.
Verify insurance coverage and benefits, to facilitate accurate billing processes.
Maintain accurate documentation review to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper health information management.
Coordinate with clinical staff to support care plans and ensure seamless communication between patients and providers.

Skills

Strong knowledge of dental terminology is a plus, but not required.
Experience with medical billing, insurance verification, and handling medical collections processes is a plus, but not required!
Prior clinic or dental office experience is great, but not required.
Exceptional patient service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and clerical support capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
