Dental Assistant – Central Mass Dental (Gardner, MA)
Full-Time | Modern Digital Practice | CBCT + Intraoral Scanner
Job Summary
Central Mass Dental is a fast-growing, fully digital general dentistry practice with CBCT, intraoral scanning, 3D treatment planning, and 8 treatment rooms. We are looking for a motivated Dental Assistant who wants to grow clinically and be part of a supportive, high-performing team.
In this role, you will provide chairside support, manage patient flow, and help maintain a comfortable, efficient environment for both patients and providers.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures: restorative, crown/bridge, extractions, implants, root canals, and emergencies.
- Prepare treatment rooms, set up trays, and follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Take digital radiographs and operate the CBCT (training available if needed).
- Use the intraoral scanner (iTero/Meditor/3Shape etc.) for digital impressions—training available.
- Properly chart and document in Eaglesoft.
- Manage patient flow to keep the day running smoothly.
- Provide post-op instructions and support excellent patient experience.
- Assist with implant setups, digital scans, and lab cases (if experienced; training provided).
Skills & Qualifications
- Massachusetts Dental Assistant License (required)
- Radiology certification (required)
- Experience with CBCT or willingness to learn
- Experience with intraoral scanning (preferred but will train)
- Knowledge of dental terminology and chairside assisting
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus (not required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to multitask
- Understanding of OSHA/HIPAA and infection control standards
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- No weekends
