Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dental Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. Dental software experience required. Dentrix software experience preferred. This role is essential in providing exceptional front desk support and administrative assistance to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage the front desk operations, including answering phone calls and responding to inquiries.
Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members.
Coordinate treatment plans
Maintain accurate filing systems for both electronic and paper documents.
Provide clerical support including data entry, document preparation, and correspondence management.
Assist with patient check-in/check-out processes, including handling of dental records.
Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
Collaborate with team members to support various administrative tasks as needed.

Skills

Previous experience as a dental receptionist is mandatory.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
Strong calendar management skills to efficiently schedule appointments.
Proficient computer literacy, including familiarity with office software and electronic filing systems.
Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong clerical skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and record keeping.
Ability to work independently while also being a team player in a collaborative environment.
