Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Front Desk Coordinator to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing front office operations with efficiency and compassion. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and familiarity with dental administrative procedures and systems. The Front Desk Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and exceptional patient service.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including appointment scheduling using patient management systems, including Dolphin.
- Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification procedures.
- Collect patient payments
- Maintain accurate dental records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for health information management.
- Answer multi-line phone systems efficiently while demonstrating proper phone etiquette.
- Assist with data entry tasks such as typing reports, updating patient information, and managing electronic health records.
- Support administrative functions like filing, faxing, scanning documents, and managing office supplies.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling for clinics specializing in various dental services using software like Dolphin
- Facilitate communication between patients and providers regarding care plans and follow-up appointments.
- Ensure clinic operations adhere to health information privacy standards and office policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a medical office environment or healthcare setting; dental clinic experience is a plus.
- Bilingual (spanish)
- Familiarity with Dolphin, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of dental orthodontic terminology and insurance verification processes.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing accuracy (10 key typing preferred).
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and data entry.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to safeguard patient information.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
