We are looking for a skilled Dental Office Receptionist/Insurance Coordinator to join our family-owned dental practices in Newport and Greeneville, Tennessee. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our multi-doctor offices.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and professionally as they arrive at the office.
Manage patient scheduling to ensure appointments are efficiently organized.
Assist with patient Check-In and Check-Out processes, providing a friendly and positive experience.
Verify insurance coverage and process dental insurance claims.
Collect payments for services rendered and handle financial transactions accurately.
Maintain patient charts and ensure records are up-to-date and organized.
Be the main point of contact for patient inquiries and communication.
Collaborate with staff members to ensure clinic policies and procedures are consistently followed.
Oversee office safety and compliance with regulatory standards, serving as the OSHA Safety Officer.
Requirements:
Prior experience with dental insurance verification and dental billing is essential.
Familiarity with dental software, particularly DENTRIX, is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and staff.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred, with at least 1 year of related work experience.
Experience in a supervisory or management role is advantageous.
