Your smile and positive attitude need to radiate through your entire being. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the business, including: leading the team AND doctors, constantly monitoring the business health of the practice, maintaining appearance and order of dental office, running team meetings, ensuring the best in patient care from surgical to cosmetic cases, problem solving with and for patients, presentation of financial treatment plan options and presentation of big cases. You will be working side by side with the doctors on a daily basis to ensure the success of 30A Smiles, which is completely dependent upon the health and happiness of our team and our patients. Did we say our doctors are awesome? Because, they are.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. High school diploma, and at least an associate's degree (preferred but not required)
2. Minimum of 2 year of experience with DENTAL front office. Minimum of 3 years in the dental field.
3. Experience with Open Dental, Dentrix or similar Practice Management Software, marketing including Facebook and Instagram, and basic IT skills (email, computers and technology, office equipment, etc)
4. Ready and available professional references from previous employers and coworkers to affirm your ultimate integrity and ethical standards.
5. A team player and able to adapt to office policy improvements (office is constantly striving for improved customer care/service).
6. Conflict resolution experience to spot a potential problem and resolve it before it becomes an issue.
7. Customer service and patient relations experience. Quick response/accurate data entry.
8. Experience and true understanding of what it means to ENGINEER the appointment book effectively.
9. Experience preparing and presenting financial option plans and present plan options to patient at end of their appointment.
10. Accuracy, Honesty, Integrity, DETAIL ORIENTED and an ability to always see room for improvement within one's own performance. MUST BE ABLE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS and document well.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of medical office management, and proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care. The Practice Manager will coordinate administrative functions, supervise staff, manage financial activities, and uphold the highest standards of clinic operations. Candidates with a background in medical administrative support, healthcare management, or dental office experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to regulatory standards such as HIPAA and JCAHO guidelines
- Supervise administrative staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and billing processes using EMR/EHR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or Epic
- Ensure accurate maintenance of medical records and patient documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, and staff development
- Oversee medical administrative support tasks including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and insurance verification
- Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement process improvements for enhanced patient care and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure effective utilization management and acute care protocols are followed
- Maintain inventory control and oversee procurement of supplies and equipment necessary for daily operations
- Ensure compliance with healthcare policies related to managed care, medical terminology standards, and hospital or clinic accreditation requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare management within a dental or clinical setting
- Strong supervisory skills with previous experience managing teams in a healthcare environment
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like eClinicalWorks or Epic is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards (JCAHO)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
- Background in fiscal management including budgeting and financial oversight
- Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes including managed care, utilization management, and billing procedures
- Experience in office management within a healthcare setting; veterinary or hospital experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between clinical staff, patients, vendors, and external partners
