About the Position

We are a fast-paced, endodontic-only specialty practice seeking an experienced Insurance & Front Office Manager to oversee insurance coordination, treatment planning, and front office workflows. This role requires a strong understanding of endodontic procedures, referrals, and insurance complexities.

This is not an entry-level position. Prior dental insurance and specialty office experience is required ( min 5 years dental insurance experience ).

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Verification

Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments
Confirm network participation, fee schedules, and coordination of benefits
Accurately enter and update insurance information in the practice management system
Identify limitations, waiting periods, frequencies, and exclusions
Communicate verified benefits and limitations to the front office and billing team

Treatment Planning & Financial Coordination

Prepare accurate treatment plans and cost estimates based on verified benefits
Ensure all treatment plans are accurate, complete, and approved prior to scheduling
Coordinate with providers and clinical staff regarding treatment codes and sequencing
Address patient questions regarding treatment costs, insurance coverage, and billing

Front Office Team Management

Supervise and support the front office team to ensure efficient daily operations
Monitor workflow, productivity, and adherence to office policies
Ensure consistent communication between front office, clinical, and billing teams
Address front office issues, escalations, and patient concerns as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 5 y ears of dental insurance and front office experience
Endodontic or specialty dental experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing workflows, and EOB interpretation
Experience with practice management software (TDO preferred)
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
Ability and willingness to travel between two office locations -HIGHLAND PARK AND BLOOMINGDALE
