Job Overview
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. Willingness to be trained, and a desire to learn and grow in the field is a must.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
- Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately in medical documentation systems.
- Manage patient flow and provide support at the dental reception area as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with various dental specialties including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and more.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is prefered but not required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control standards.
- Understanding of dental terminology or the desire to learn and be trained.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
