Position Summary
Dental Care of Rosewood is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to patient education, preventive care, and delivering exceptional clinical services while working collaboratively with dentists and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings (prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing)
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment plans
- Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants
- Identify signs of oral diseases and communicate findings to the dentist
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations
- Provide a comfortable, positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state
- CPR/BLS certification (current or ability to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Preferred Skills
- Experience with dental software systems
- Gentle chairside manner and patient-focused approach
- Ability to educate and motivate patients of all ages

Pay: From $42.00 per hour
