Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times
Schedule appointments accurately using Dentrix dental practice management software.
Verify insurance coverage and benefits, ensuring proper billing procedures
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including intake forms and documentation review
Handle phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately
Maintain accurate dental records, medical histories, and treatment plans
Perform insurance verification, claims submission, and follow-up on outstanding payments
Assist with billing procedures
Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations and patient care plans

Qualifications

Proven experience in a dental office with strong knowledge of dental terminology
Knowledge of insurance verification processes, and HIPAA compliance standards
Excellent computer skills and office management software
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and record keeping
Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Previous dental office experience is mandatory
Compensation will be based in part on experience and work history

Job Type: Full-time
