We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and enthusiastic Pediatric Associate Dentist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and adolescents, providing exceptional dental care in a fun, friendly, and anxiety-free environment. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues in children, educating families on proper oral hygiene, and promoting lifelong dental health habits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pediatric dental examinations, cleanings, and preventive care.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as caries, gum diseases, and developmental issues in primary and mixed dentition.
- Provide restorative treatments including fillings, crowns, and space maintainers.
- Administer nitrous oxide and/or local anesthesia for procedures, ensuring patient comfort.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to explain treatment plans, oral hygiene practices, and preventive strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical protocols.
- Manage dental emergencies and pediatric trauma cases with confidence and empathy.
- Work effectively with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Stay up to date with the latest pediatric dental technologies, treatments, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid dental license
- Current certifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and creating positive dental experiences.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
