We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning using appropriate techniques
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits
- Assist in chairside procedures, providing support to the dentist during treatments
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
- Stay current with dental terminology, medical imaging, and aseptic techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with patients of all ages
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety
