Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensure infection control, and support the delivery of high-quality dental care across general dentistry. This role involves working closely with dentists and patients to facilitate efficient procedures while maintaining a comfortable environment. The position requires proficiency in patient care, dental terminology and documentation. A strong understanding of anatomy, infection control protocols and techniques is essential to uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take accurate dental images, to include scanner and cone beam imaging.
- Manage patient records accurately within dental software program while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to anatomy knowledge, infection control, and dental coding.
Skills
- Proficiency in paperless dental software programs.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to operate dental X-ray equipment safely and effectively while maintaining radiation safety standards.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols in a clinical setting.
- Skilled in dental imaging technology.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
