Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Periodontist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in periodontal therapy, All-on-X, patient care, and dental procedures, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional oral health services. Candidates should have a strong background in dental terminology, medical documentation, and infection control protocols, ensuring comprehensive patient assessments and treatment planning.

Duties

Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, including gum disease and tissue regeneration procedures.
Perform dental surgeries such as periodontal flap surgery, grafts, and extractions.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluations and medical records review
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term periodontal health.
Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control standards using aseptic techniques.
Document all procedures accurately within electronic health records while ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school with specialization in periodontics.
Valid state licensure to practice as a Periodontist.
Experience with dental extractions, infection control protocols, aseptic techniques.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to perform patient assessments effectively.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to periodontal treatments and the ability to interpret medical records accurately.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $400.00 - $6,000.00 per day
