## Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help to ensure a smooth patient experience.
## Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist by providing instruments during procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
## Applicable Skills (not required)
- Proficiency with dental software systems
- Knowledge of medical and dental terminology
- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Familiarity with 3D scanning technology in dentistry
- Strong assisting skills to support the dentist effectively
- Understanding of anatomy relevant to dental procedures
- Proficient in dental receptionist duties for patient scheduling and coordination

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.59 - $18.20 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
