- Job Title: In-House Dental Lab Technician
Location: Duluth, GA
We are a general dental practice in Duluth, seeking a highly skilled and motivated In-House Lab Technician to join our team. As a leading implant-focused practice specializing in All-on-4 and All-on-X procedures, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in controlling all aspects of our in-house lab operations including FABRICATION.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Fabrication: Utilize your expertise to design and fabricate porcelain and zirconia crowns, as well as acrylic and zirconia implant-supported dentures using a digital workflow.
- Lab Management: Take charge of all lab-related responsibilities, including tracking cases, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a seamless workflow within the lab.
Machine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on lab machines to ensure optimal functionality and output quality.
- Case Tracking: Keep detailed records of all lab cases, ensuring accurate tracking and timely completion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to understand patient needs and provide necessary support for successful case outcomes.
- Digital Workflow: Possess a strong understanding of digital workflow processes and stay updated on advancements in dental technology.
- Occlusion Knowledge: Apply your understanding of occlusion principles to achieve optimal results in crown and denture fabrication.
- General Dental Knowledge: Maintain a broad understanding of general dental procedures and techniques to contribute effectively to the overall success of the practice.
- Assisting Experience: Previous experience in dental assisting is beneficial, as it enhances your ability to collaborate with the clinical team.
Qualifications:
- MUST be proficient in EXOCAD, 5 years of experience minimum.
- Proven experience as a Dental Lab Technician, with a focus on implant-supported restorations.
- Proficiency in digital design software and CAD/CAM systems.
-3D printing experience, staining and glazing.
- Strong knowledge of occlusion principles and general dental procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Previous dental assisting experience is a plus, but not required.
