Position Overview

The Surgical Dental Assistant will work closely with our oral surgeons and periodontists, supporting a variety of surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and efficiency throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Assist oral surgeons and periodontists during surgical procedures
Prepare and break down surgical operatories
Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards
Anticipate provider needs and support efficient patient flow
Educate patients pre- and post-operatively
Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams

Qualifications

DAANCE certification (required)
Surgical dental assisting experience (oral surgery and/or perio strongly preferred)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Professional, patient-focused demeanor
