Shikosha Dental Lab is looking for a seazoned Ceramist to join our team in Portland, Oregon. Position Summary: The Ceramist is responsible for the production of high end cosmetic cases under the direction of Supervisor of the Ceramics Department. They will be responsible for ensuring the completion of complex cases within the scheduled time frame. This position requires an individual who is able to work independently with little supervision. Strong knowlage of understructure and complex restorations, expirience with wide range of dental resorations like Porcelain fused to metal, Layered Zirconia, Pressed ceramics and layered/monolithic hybrids.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
Must be able to pass drug test and background check (no felony convictions)
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately and quickly while working independently

Responsibilities

Fabricate dental prosthetics and restorations with precision, ensuring adherence to specifications.
Utilize knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology to assess patient/doctor needs and create appropriate solutions.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment while following HIPAA regulations and safety protocols.
Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure seamless integration of dental appliances in patient care.
Communicate accurately and professionally with supervisors and teammembers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
