A well-established, patient-focused dental practice in Southern Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join its clinical team.
This role is ideal for a dependable, professional assistant who is comfortable supporting a busy general dentistry environment and delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during procedures using light-cured materials
- Utilize intra-oral cameras and scanning systems
- Pour and trim models; take alginate impressions
- Take blood pressure manually
- Operate and maintain autoclave or Statim equipment
- Provide post-operative instructions
- Record and update medical records and chart patient notes
- Perform instrument sterilization and operatory turnover
- Set up basic restorative trays
- Assist other team members as needed
- Schedule follow-up appointments and recalls
- Fabricate posterior temporary crowns
- Pack and remove retraction cord
- Assist with CEREC restorations
Qualifications
- Active RDA certification
- Prior dental assisting experience required
- Strong knowledge of chairside and back-office procedures
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
