Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Dentist to join our client's dynamic dental team. This is a very reputable private office, seeking a bilingual dentist in Spanish & English. The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of experience or a residency completed. Also a comprehensive understanding of general and specialized dentistry practices, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in dental procedures, patient assessment, and medical documentation, ensuring the highest standards of oral health and safety are maintained. The Dentist will play a vital role in promoting oral health education and fostering a welcoming environment for patients of all ages.
This is a state of the art office, with an amazing team! The dentist can expect to produce around 100K per month or more, depending on procedures performed. The office has plenty of patients!
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using advanced dental imaging techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass general dentistry procedures such as fillings, crowns, and root canal therapy.
- Conduct dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery procedures with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options to patients clearly.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care.
- Ensure infection control protocols are rigorously followed, including sterilization of instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology, including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and other practice management software.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral wellness.
- Adhere to all safety standards related to medical documentation, medical imaging, and dental fabrication processes.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a focus on general dentistry procedures.
- Demonstrated expertise in pediatric dentistry, including working with pediatric patients and managing pediatric-specific treatments.
- Strong background in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral surgery and infection control practices essential for safe practice.
- Experience providing patient care in compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining high standards of medical documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively using appropriate medical terminology with colleagues and patients alike.
