Core Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in dental office management
- Strong understanding of dental insurance verification, billing, collections, and scheduling
- Experience with dental practice management software (Open Dental experience is a plus)
- Proven ability to lead teams, set expectations, and hold team members accountable
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative and operational functions of the practice
- Ensure efficient scheduling, patient flow, billing, collections, and follow-up
- Confidently discuss financial responsibility and collect payments
- Monitor and actively reduce patient accounts receivable (AR)
- Implement and maintain systems that support efficiency, consistency, and accountability
- Lead and support team members without micromanaging
- Collaborate with providers and staff to maintain a high-performing, professional environment
- Uphold company policies, compliance standards, and confidentiality at all times
