Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled in house Periodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will specialize in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of periodontal diseases, as well as perform complex surgical procedures to restore oral health. Your expertise will help improve patients’ smiles and overall well-being through advanced periodontal care and collaborative treatment planning. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and other gum-related conditions
- Perform periodontal surgeries such as flap procedures, tooth extractions, bone grafts, soft tissue grafts, and dental implant placements
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients requiring periodontal intervention
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, disease prevention, and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health
- Utilize advanced dental technology and tools such as digital radiography, 3D imaging, and laser therapy to enhance treatment outcomes
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited US institution
- Valid state license to practice dentistry in California with specialized certification in periodontics
- Proven experience with dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to periodontal procedures and oral surgery techniques
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
