What You’ll Do (Where Your Experience Really Counts)
- Lead and support our Front Desk Team
- Be the warm, knowledgeable first point of contact for patients.
- Manage scheduling, confirmations, and patient flow with the confidence of someone who knows how a dental office runs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and daily communication with professionalism and ease.
- Support the clinical team by keeping the front office organized and efficient.
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming reception area.
What We’re Looking For (Dental Experience Required)
We are seeking a candidate who already understands the workflow, terminology, and pace of a dental practice. Your experience will directly lead and support our patients and team.
Dental Knowledge & Terminology
- Comfortable discussing common procedures (prophylaxis, crowns, SRPs, implants, etc.)
- Able to explain treatment steps clearly and confidently to patients
Scheduling & Patient Flow
- Experience building productive schedules
- Understanding of procedure lengths and provider preferences
- Ability to minimize gaps and keep the day running smoothly
Insurance Expertise
- Insurance verification and eligibility checks
- Benefit breakdowns and pre‑authorizations
- Claims submission and follow‑up
- Understanding of PPOs, frequencies, downgrades, and waiting periods
Dental Software Proficiency
Experience with platforms such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar, including:
- Updating patient records
- Entering treatment plans
- Posting payments
- Tracking claims
- Managing digital forms and schedules
Treatment Plan & Financial Communication
- Comfortable reviewing treatment plans
- Able to explain costs and coverage with clarity and empathy
