We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dentist to join our client's dental practice. This is a very reputable and privately owned office, that is committed to providing high quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing general restorative procedures. If a dentist is proficient in advanced procedures that would be a plus, but it wouldn't be required. They are willing to offer amazing mentoring if desired. This FFS and PPO office, has an amazing team that works very well together and all the latest in equipment.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a range of dental procedures including routine cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance patient care efficiency.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and dental terminology is essential.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
