NOW HIRING 1 Oral surgeon / periodontal assistant needed at Key Largo, Fl
We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Oral Surgery/Periodontal Dental Assistant to join our specialized dental team. This position is for three days a week.
In this role, you will provide direct support during oral surgery and periodontal procedures, ensuring that patients receive exceptional care in a comfortable and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assisting with complex dental surgeries, sterilizing instruments, and providing post-operative instructions to patients.

Salary
Range $20 - $24 hourly based on experience
Skills
- Dental assistant experience is required
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the oral surgeon/periodontist during surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, and periodontal treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment, ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
- Assist with local anesthesia administration and monitor patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Record patient histories, treatment plans, and surgical notes.
- Provide post-operative care instructions and answer patient questions regarding recovery.
- Educate patients on oral health and recovery practices.
- Maintain patient records and assist with scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to sterilization standards.
