Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment -Cleaning and resetting dental operatories
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental charting and help maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with dental lab tasks, including pouring impressions and trimming models
- Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory
Requirements:
-Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not imperative
-Willing to learn Eaglesoft dental software program
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment when necessary and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Ability to work well with others and be open to learning in a new environment
