Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality care to patients while ensuring a comfortable and efficient dental visit.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Sterilize instruments following infection control guidelines
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
- Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to medical coding standards
- Record medical history and vital signs of patients accurately
- Use Eaglesoft or similar software for patient records
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques, including X-rays
- Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols
- Ability to handle Eaglesoft or similar practice management software effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
