Job Summary
The highly motivated and positive individual works under the dentist's supervision. The primary role of the Dental Assistant is to perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties.
- Assist the dentist in all dental procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment
- Prepare room setups for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Computer charting and notes
- Take digital x-rays
- Take alginate impressions and fabricate stone models from said impressions
- Take crown and bridge impressions
- Deliver dentures, partials, and crowns
- Break down and clean rooms after each procedure
- Chart the treatment plan as the doctor calls out the recommendations and write a complete description of the procedure in the patient's chart if/when completed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
