Dental Office Manager

Beautiful specialty dental practice in Morehead City seeks a well organized, patient focused Dental Office Manager to lead office operations and a high performing team. Ideal for a proactive leader who balances outstanding patient experience with production, scheduling, and revenue cycle excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day front office operations: patient reception, scheduling, recall, and phones
Own the schedule to meet production goals while minimizing no shows and gaps
Oversee insurance verification, pre-authorizations, claims, EOBs, and patient estimates.
Coordinate treatment plans and financial presentations; manage AR and patient collections.
Maintain accurate patient records and compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
Partner with provider(s) on daily huddles, KPIs, and workflow improvements
Train, coach, and schedule front-desk team; support a positive, accountable culture
Handle administrative tasks: supplies, vendor coordination, light office upkeep
Greet patients, check-in/out, and support an exceptional experience

Qualifications

2+ years office management experience in dentistry or medical front office (required)
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)
Solid understanding of insurance, treatment coordination, and AR workflows
Highly organized, dependable, and detail oriented; able to prioritize in a busy setting
High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional dental admin training a plus
X-Ray Certification preferred (not required)
