This role is responsible for ensuring efficient clinic operations, supporting providers and staff, improving patient access to care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Position Summary
The Dental Practice Manager oversees the operational, administrative, and financial performance of the dental clinic. This role works closely with dental providers and leadership to ensure exceptional patient experience, operational efficiency, and compliance with FQHC and regulatory standards.
The Practice Manager supervises front office and support staff, manages scheduling and workflow, supports revenue cycle processes, and ensures clinic operations align with the organization's mission and patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities in Clinic Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the dental clinic to ensure efficient patient flow and quality service delivery
- Monitor clinic schedules, provider productivity, and patient access to services
- Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage for clinic operations
- Implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and patient satisfaction
Staff Leadership
- Supervise front desk, dental assistants, and support staff
- Provide coaching, training, and performance management for clinic team members
- Foster a collaborative, patient-centered team environment
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
Patient Experience
- Ensure a positive and welcoming experience for all patients
- Address patient concerns and support service recovery when needed
- Promote culturally competent and trauma-informed care practices
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with FQHC regulations, OSHA, HIPAA, and dental practice standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and operational procedures
- Support quality improvement initiatives and clinic performance metrics
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Monitor clinic productivity, operational metrics, and financial performance
- Support revenue cycle processes including scheduling accuracy, patient registration, and billing workflows
- Assist with budget management and supply oversight
- Maintain operational reports and performance dashboards
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of healthcare or dental practice management experience
- Experience supervising staff in a clinical or healthcare environment
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, scheduling, and patient service workflows
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Experience in a dental clinic or dental practice management
- Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health center
- Familiarity with dental practice management systems and electronic health records
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field

Pay: $61,049.60 - $98,500.00 per year
