No previous Orthodontic experience? No problem! We will provide necessary training. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our State of the art Orthodontic practice! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and assisting orthodontists in delivering high-quality treatments. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Assist orthodontists and perform during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Take X-rays as needed and ensure proper documentation of patient records.
Provide four-handed dentistry support during orthodontic procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and hygienic workspace.

Skills

Proficient in X-Ray techniques and Chairside Dental Assisting
Knowledge of Orthodontics is a plus, but not a must.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring patient privacy.
