POSITION PURPOSE

Our Sequim-based practice is looking for a dedicated Surgical Technician to support our surgical team, deliver exceptional patient experiences, and keep our clinical operations running smoothly.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Surgical & Clinical Support

Assist the doctor during surgical procedures and consultations

Prepare, seat, and monitor patients, including taking vitals

Maintain competency in anesthesia monitoring
-
Ensure all treatment plans and consent forms are completed accurately
Patient Care
-
Provide clear, supportive pre‑operative and post‑operative instructions
-
Maintain high standards of patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction
-
Obtain necessary medical clearances for surgical procedures
Safety & Compliance
-
Follow OSHA and all regulatory safety guidelines
-
Ensure radiation safety and produce high‑quality radiographs
-
Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information
Documentation & Equipment
-
Document and chart patient care according to established standards
-
Prepare, clean, and maintain instruments and equipment
-
Ensure operatory rooms are ready and properly stocked
Teamwork & Communication
-
Build positive relationships with patients, providers, and coworkers
-
Handle conflict constructively, offering solutions when possible

Adapt to changing duties and support special projects as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail

Flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced clinical setting

Active listening and professional verbal communication skills

Commitment to safety standards and office policies
Certifications and Safety Requirements:

Basic CPR Certification required (we can assist with obtaining this)

Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting/Dental Assistant Certification preferred

Hepatitis B Vaccination & Titer

TB Vaccination & Titer
