Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency
Schedule appointments using dental practice management software, ensuring optimal clinic flow
Verify insurance coverage, submit claims, collect patient payments with care and expertise.
Maintain comprehensive and organized medical records, including documentation review and filing of dental and medical information
Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly and courteously
Assist with insurance verification, intake procedures, and data entry to support accurate care plans and billing processes

Requirements

Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a clinical setting, with familiarity in dental terminology.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and dental practice management software like Dentrix Ascend.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations; bilingual abilities are a plus
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards to ensure confidentiality of patient information
Previous clinic or healthcare office experience is highly preferred; familiarity with dental office operations is advantageous
