Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, clinically strong Associate Orthodontist to join Behl Orthodontics across multiple locations. This role is ideal for an orthodontist who values high standards of care, efficient workflows, and long-term professional growth within a stable, well-established organization.
The Associate Orthodontist will provide comprehensive orthodontic treatment to children, adolescents, and adults while working within Behl Orthodontics’ proven clinical systems and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat orthodontic cases for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
- Develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide fixed appliance and clear aligner therapy
- Monitor treatment progress and ensure high-quality clinical outcomes
- Communicate treatment plans and expectations clearly with patients and families
- Collaborate with orthodontic assistants, treatment coordinators, and front office teams
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Uphold Behl Orthodontics’ clinical standards, protocols, and patient experience
- Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Certificate in Orthodontics from an accredited orthodontic residency program
- Eligible for or holding an active Virginia dental license
- Eligible for or holding a DEA license
- Strong clinical foundation in orthodontics
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
Optional / Preferred Skills
- Experience in a high-volume orthodontic practice
- Proficiency with clear aligner therapy (e.g., Invisalign)
- Comfort treating both pediatric and adult orthodontic cases
- Interest in leadership, mentorship, or future growth opportunities
- Familiarity with modern orthodontic technologies and efficient clinical workflows

Pay: $252,128.17 - $303,638.22 per year
