Duties
- Perform a wide range of general dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions with precision and care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop effective treatment plans
- Utilize advanced dental software such as Open Dental for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping
- Execute oral surgeries and dental extractions adhering to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Provide pediatric dentistry services tailored to young patients’ needs, ensuring comfort and trust during visits
- Deliver root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics, and other restorative treatments with attention to detail
- Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort
- Maintain comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring confidentiality
- Use medical imaging tools effectively for diagnosis and treatment planning based on anatomy knowledge
- Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and treatment options to foster informed decision-making
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Associate General Dentist
- Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with dental software such as Open Dental is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics, and infection control practices
- Ability to perform dental extractions and utilize dental fabrication techniques when necessary
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward diverse patient populations including pediatrics
- Understanding of medical terminology and medical imaging techniques relevant to dental practice
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient confidentiality
- Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or office environment is advantageous

Pay: $100,512.98 - $121,047.89 per year
