Dr Gray in Stanton Texas is looking for a part time dental hygienist with potential for full time employment if desired.

Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
- Take medical imaging such as X-rays and panos while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Open Dental(Electronic Medical Records)
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and managing medical documentation review processes.
Experience
- Prefer experience in another dental office but not required.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical coding standards.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and providing care to pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively about treatment plans and oral health education.
- Ability to perform chairside assisting duties seamlessly while maintaining aseptic technique standards.
- Current RDH License.
- Pay dependent on experience.
Pay: $40.00 - $49.85 per hour
