```Duties```

- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the dental office

- Schedule and confirm appointments using dental software Dentrix.

- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department

- Maintain patient records and update medical history and insurance information

- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims

- Collect payments and provide patients with billing information

- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized reception area

```Qualifications```

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist (10 years min.) or in a similar role is preferred

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff

- Proficient in using dental software system Open Dental

- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental procedures and treatments

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with handling medical records and maintaining patient confidentiality
