Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA/EFDA) to join our team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills within a friendly and supportive setting.

Duties

Assist dentists chairside during various procedures.
Take dental X-rays, ensuring proper technique and patient safety in compliance with infection control standards.
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of infection control.
Manage patient records using dental software (Archy)
Collect vital signs and medical history information
Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices.
Support front desk operations as needed, including dental receptionist duties like appointment scheduling and patient check-in.

Requirements

Valid license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience in dental assisting within a general setting.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient privacy and confidentiality.
Ability to perform dental radiography (X-ray) procedures accurately and safely.
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.
Experience with four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure while delivering compassionate patient care.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
