About the Role: As a critical member of our team, you will assist with all phases of orthodontic treatment, following doctors' directives and treatment plans. Your duties will include:

Preparing teeth for the placement of brackets and bands
Securing orthodontic wires
Educating patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
Motivating patients to achieve their best orthodontic results
Serving as a key communication link between patients and orthodontists
Ensuring patients feel comfortable and engaged throughout their visit

Your responsibilities will also include sterilizing and preparing orthodontic equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Flexibility and forward-thinking are essential, as you’ll be expected to anticipate the needs of both our patients and the dental team.

Requirements:

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to engage with patients and parents, making them feel welcome and at ease
NJ dental radiology license required or in progress
CDA certificate, RDA license, or 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in orthodontics are plus points

This role also involves working on a rotating schedule for 4 days per week, and maintaining professionalism and flexibility at all times. Physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, and dexterity for working with instruments and equipment like digital 3D scanners and X-ray machines.
