Description:
The Insurance Manager is responsible for building, training, and supporting the Claim Support Specialist team while ensuring efficient, accurate insurance processes across all practice locations. This role serves as the primary resource for insurance related operations, including claims processing, credentialing, fee schedule management, and aging oversight. The Insurance Manager is responsible for our team audits to ensure our systems and scope of practice are being followed.
This position partners closely with Practice Managers and Leadership to implement systems, improve workflows, and ensure consistency in insurance protocols across the organization
- Build and support Claim Support Specialist team
- All onboarding and training
- Put systems in place to ensure communication flows easily between team and PM’s
- Oversees insurance aging by putting systems in place to ensure it is being done accurately and consistently
- Main point of contact for claim support team & practice managers for insurance processing/aging questions
- Credentialing/Recredentialing
- New providers at all locations for subbing purposes
- Recredentialing all current doctors
- Adding/Dropping participating insurance companies
- Fee schedules
- Point of contact on where fees should lie within the company for specific procedure codes
- Yearly fee increases
- Making sure fee schedules are in ascend to calculate accurate treatment plans
- Negotiating/evaluating fee schedules with insurance companies
- Sending collections to third party company
- Oversees patient aging
- Training
- Onboarding for practice managers, business team, and claim support specialists
- Additional training for any insurance needs within offices
- Supporting Dental Teams
- Point of contact for all insurance questions
- Keeping team members informed on industry changes with coding, billing, and insurance providers
- Audits
- Pull & oversee audits for multiple locations
- Ascend
- Roll out any beneficial new tools in ascend that will make insurance protocols more efficient for the BT
- Utilize Continuing Education to Support Our Practices
- Collaborate with Service Co. Team
- Implementing systems and creating training materials
- Assisting with group projects and events

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
