Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental office . The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for our patients. This role involves assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized environment in accordance with infection control protocols. Looking for part time candidates for MONDAYS and TUESDAYS If candidates are looking for just one or two days to add in their schedule we are open to consider those days.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients throughout their visit.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance the efficiency of dental procedures.
Ensure the dental office is organized, clean, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

Knowledge of anatomy and general dentistry principles is essential.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical record management systems.
Strong understanding of infection control practices within a clinical setting.
Ability to assist effectively in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to clinic needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week

Experience:
