The Dental Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily administrative operations of the dental office while providing excellent customer service to patients. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and ensures smooth scheduling, communication, and financial coordination.

Primary Responsibilities:

Patient Communication & Customer Service

Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
Assist patients with paperwork, forms, and general office information

Scheduling & Office Coordination

Maintain an organized and efficient appointment schedule
Coordinate patient flow to ensure minimal wait times
Confirm upcoming appointments and manage cancellations or rescheduling
Communicate with the clinical team regarding schedule changes

Administrative Tasks

Maintain patient charts and update patient records
Process new patient registrations and intake forms
Manage office emails, faxes, and correspondence
Assist with reports, billing, and office organization

Skills & Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures preferred
Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) preferred
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
