Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dental Technician specializing as a Ceramist to join our dynamic dental laboratory team. In this role, you will craft high-quality dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and other prosthetic devices, ensuring they meet precise specifications and aesthetic standards. Your expertise in dental fabrication and artistic skill will contribute to transforming patient smiles and improving oral health outcomes. Duties
- Fabricate ceramic dental restorations including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant-supported prosthetics.
- Perform ceramic layering, contouring, staining, and glazing to achieve natural tooth appearance.
- Interpret dental prescriptions, impressions, and digital scans from dentists.
- Ensure proper shade matching and aesthetic quality of restorations.
- Work with materials such as porcelain, zirconia, lithium disilicate, and other ceramic systems.
- Use CAD/CAM technology and dental laboratory equipment for design and milling where applicable.
- Maintain accuracy and precision in shaping and finishing restorations.
- Collaborate with dentists and other lab technicians to ensure patient-specific requirements are met.
- Perform quality control checks before final delivery.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper handling of materials.
Qualifications
- Specialized training or experience in dental ceramics.
- 2+ years of experience in ceramic dental restorations (preferred).
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and aesthetics.
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems is an advantage.
- Strong artistic and manual dexterity skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
