Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and expertise. This pivotal role combines office management, patient coordination, and team leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong dental office experience, supervisory skills, and a passion for fostering a positive, efficient environment. You will oversee administrative functions, coordinate treatment plans, answer phones and manage financial processes to support the practice’s growth and success. Duties
- Manage daily operations of the dental office, including fielding phone calls, scheduling, and patient flow to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary Treatment Coordinator by explaining treatment options, financial arrangements, and insurance benefits clearly to patients, ensuring they feel confident and informed about their care.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure all medical records are accurate, confidential, and properly managed within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems.
- Coordinate with insurance providers for managed care plans and verify patient insurance benefits to facilitate smooth billing processes.
- Utilize dental software efficiently for scheduling, billing, treatment planning, and record keeping.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare management.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards including JCAHO accreditation processes.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction as a Treatment Coordinator along with leadership capabilities for staff supervision.
